Grand Opening of Parkland Avenue Melaka Sales Gallery 17th February 2023
The Parkland Group launched their up-coming integrated development for Parkland Avenue by The Sea Sales Gallery located in Kota Laksamana Melaka in a grand Chinese New Year ceremony. Together with their invited guests, our H.S.Chew & Co. lawyers and executives graced the event to view the modern and luxurious design showrooms and enjoyed the auspicious occasion which was blessed by Melaka's top multi-lion dance troupe.

Signing Ceremony for Parkland Residence @ Kajang 2 26th November 2022
The H.S.Chew & Co. conveyancing team from Melaka and K.L. attended the signing ceremony for the latest launching of the Parkland Residence Kajang 2 project, a 3.77 acres freehold development located in the pulse of Kajang. Led by our firm's partners Mr. Chew wee Kian and Mr. Chew Wee Hong, our team provided legal assistance to property purchasers who were completing the Sale and Purchase documentations, and attended to queries on related legal facilities. 
 

MCA Legal Bureau Assists Elderly Supermarket Customer On Injury Claims 14th August 2022
The MCA Legal Bureau (Melaka branch) assisted an elderly customer to receive reasonable compensation for her pelvic fracture surgery and other related costs amounting to RM62,429.90 from injuries incurred by the supermarket automatic door. Our firm's managing partner, Mr. Chew Wee Kian assisted the Melaka MCA Legal Bureau in providing professional legal advice on compensation rights and other legal issues. 
 

Meeting At Seri Bendahara With the Chief Minister of Melaka 4th September 2020
Our managing partner, Mr. Chew Wee Kian met with the Chief Minister of Melaka YAB Datuk Seri Utama Sulaiman Md. Ali at the Seri Bendahara, CM official residence to discuss on issues arising during the Covid 19 pandemic.

MMU Law Moot Competition 19th December 2015
H.S.Chew & Co. partner, Chew Wee Kian was invited to be a judge the Law Moot Competition 2015 at Multimedia University's Melaka campus. We thank the university for inviting our firm to be a part of their educational endeavors in the legal field and wish the law students of MMU all the best in their Bachelor of Law studies.

Congratulations to our H.S.Chew & Co. partners, Chew Wee Kian and Chew Wee Hong, for their appointment as Commissioners for Oaths by the Chief Justice of Malaysia to commission oaths at both our Melaka main and KL branch offices respectively with effect from 1st January 2015.
 

H.S.Chew & Co. Company Trip 2014/Saigon 23th-26th October 2014
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam welcomed the HSC team with it's rich French influenced lifestyle and mouth-watering Vietnamese cuisines. Formerly known as Saigon, the city is blessed with beautiful architecture, and history retold through heart-touching wartime memorabilias. Observing the local culture and their journey of life along the Mekong river will always remind us to have gratitude for a peaceful and war-free country. 
 

Ramadan Getogether 2014 25th July 2014
The HSC team observed this year's "Buka Puasa" dinner at the newly open King's Green Hotel in Melaka. While enjoying the feasting, it is also a time to reflect upon the blessings of peace and gratitude together with our fellow Muslim teammates as the country prepare to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

The Salvatorian Home in Ayer Salak is a home to 16 less fortunate children and orphans from poor and broken families. The children are provided with care and love by the Salvatorian Sisters who strive to bring happiness and spiritual healing to their lives. The HSChew and Co. team are happy to have met and to share the joy of the festive seasons with the occupants of the home.   
 

Ramadan Getogether 2013 25th July 2013
The management and team of our Melaka office branch observed and joined-in the "Buka Puasa" thanksgiving meal at Zest Restaurant, Ramada Plaza in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan. A buffet dinner of Malay delicacies was enjoyed while everyone reflected on the spiritual benefits, such as patience, mercy and self-control which were experienced by our Muslim colleagues and friends as they prepared for the Eid Al Fitri celebrations.   
 

Lunar New Year Greetings and CNY Lunch 2013 18th & 19th February 2013
It was an auspiscious start to the new lunar year at H.S.Chew & Co. Melaka office when lion dances and the God of Prosperity greeted our Melaka team on their first day back to work after a long festive break. The celebration continued the next day with a hearty lunch at Century Mahkota Hotel. The Management of H.S.Chew & Co. wishes everyone a charming and prosperous new year of the Snake!
 

HSChew & Co. Charity Day 2013 8th February 2013
Once again it is time to share the joy of CNY with the less fortunate. Led by our firm's Partner - Chew Wee Kian, food and daily neccessity items were delivered to the Handicapped and Mentally Disabled Centre in Bukit Baru several days before CNY. Ang-pow packets were given out to the children and occupants amidst cheerful wishes of Gong Xi Fa Cai.
 

MMU Law Moot Competition 2012/13 Grand Final 29th January 2013
The Law Moot Competition is a prestigious event in MMU and complements the formal theoretical content of the Bachelor of Law syllabus. Our firm's Partner, Chew Wee Kian, along with fellow lawyers Amardas S/O Jethanand and Desmond Ho, participated as moot judges and had an enjoyable experience in the English Session Grand Finals of this successful competition.  
 

Appointment of Melaka Historic City Councillor 2012 28th December 2012
The Management of H.S.Chew & Co. is proud to announce that our firm's Partner, Chew Wee Kian, has been appointed as a Melaka Historic City (MBMB) Councillor by the Melaka State Government, on 28th December 2012. 
 

ATC 25th Anniversary & 23rd Grand Convocation Ceremony 3rd December 2012
The Advance Tertiatry College (KL) commemorated it's 25th anniversary (1987-2012) at the Grand Ballroom, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Our firm's Partner & alumnus of ATC, Chew Wee Kian, joined in the grand celebration along with the VVIP, management staff and graduating students. MMU Law Moot Competition 2012 24th November 2012
Our firm's Partner, Chew Wee Kian, was invited to judge a moot in this year's preliminaries of the English section of Multimedia University's Law Moot Competition. Congratulations to team R31 for winning Moot 11 and also to Muhammad Wafiq who won best oralist. H.S.Chew & Co. wishes all 3rd year law students in MMU a moot well done!  
 

H.S.Chew & Co. Company Trip 2012/Siem Reap 14th-17th September 2012
The H.S.Chew & Co. team embarked on a mystical adventure through Cambodia's towering ruins, getting lost in haunting corridors, cruising along floating villages, hunting for gemstones, and snacking on fried insects. Blessed with Buddha's smile and greeting of peace, it was a remarkable journey immersed in the grandeur of the world famous Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat temples.  
 

Taman Kelemak Utama Alor Gajah, Property Sales Launch 15-17th April 2012
Our developer-client, Kamso Properties, launched their property sales for their latest development project known as "Taman Kelemak Utama" at Alor Gajah, Melaka featuring the sales of cluster semi-detached  and semi-detached houses held in  conjunction with the REHDA Property Exhibition and Fair at Mahkota Parade, which was officiated by the Chief Minister of Melaka,  Datuk Seri Haji Mohd Ali Bin Rustam.

HSChew & Co. Charity Day 2013 21st January 2012
This year's CNY charity event was organised for the Handicapped And Mentally Disabled Love Centre in Bachang, Melaka. The H.S.Chew  & Co. team, personally  shopped and delivered the donation items  and Chinese New year gifts to the home. The team was greeted cheerfully by the occupants of the home, and our Managing Partner, Chew Wee Kian, distributed ang-pau to the occupants and presented a cash donation to the Centre's management.     
 

BKT Medal of Honour Award 10th December 2011
The Management and team of H.S.Chew & Co. congratulates our firm's Partner- Chew Wee Kian, for receiving the BKT  (Bintang Khidmat Terpuji) medal of honour from the Governor of the State of Melaka in conjunction with His Excellency's 73rd birthday on 8th October 2011. Mr Chew Wee Kian was recognized for his contribution to the community and State of Melaka in his active participation in various governmental and non-governmental projects and activities.    
 

MMU Law Moot Competition 2011/201219th November 2011
Once again, our firm's Partner, Chew Wee Kian, has been invited by the Law faculty of Multitmedia University to judge the preliminary round of the Bahasa Malaysia section of the 2011/2012 Law Moot Competition. Our firm is proud to contribute insights on the real court room  experience  to the moot participants who are all third year law students.  
 

HSChew & Co. Company Trip 2011/Krabi 9th-11th September 2011
Nothing creates better teamwork than a fun and relaxing weekend away from the office. The management and staff of H.S.Chew & Co. Melaka and K.L took this  valuable time to build better bonds and recuperate, whilst enjoying the enchanting beaches of Krabi, Thailand.  
 

MATTA Melaka Charity Dinner 19th August 2011
The Malaysian Association of Tour & Travel Agents (MATTA Melaka) organized a Buka Puasa dinner to celebrate the success of the MATTA Fair held at MITC held in early August. Our Managing Partner, Chew Wee Kian, who is the legal advisor for MATTA (Melaka), attended the function and presented the top 3 prizes in the lucky draw event.   
 

MM2H Malaysia My Second Home Programme 5th June 2011
H.S.Chew & Co. Partner, Chew Wee Kian, was invited as a guest speaker for the MM2H Programme presentation to the Teo Chew Association members. The talk organized by Bel Management Services Sdn. Bhd. was held at Pay Fong Middle school and provided information on the programme which is promoted by the government of Malaysia to allow foreigners to stay in Malaysia  for as long as possible on a multiple-entry social visit pass.  
 

CNY Golden Lion Dance 8th February 2011
A pair of robust golden lions danced into the H.S.Chew & Co. main office in Melaka to signify the arrival of good fortune and blessings for the Chinese new year.  A symbolic dish of pomelos and mandarin oranges was presented as a token of prosperity by the lion to our Senior Managing Partner, Chew Hock Siong.
 

MMU Law Moot Competition 2010/201113th November 2010
H.S.Chew & Co. is honoured to be invited to judge the preliminary round of the Bahasa Malaysia section of the Multimedia University Law Moot competiton for the year 2010/2011.  Congratulations to Mr. Ong Sze Ren who bagged the Best Oralist title with his outstanding performance. 
 

Corporate Presentation at MIDA 15th October 2010
The Managing Partner of H.S.Chew & Co., Mr. Chew Wee Kian, accompanied our corporate clients' top management team to a corporate presentation at the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.
 

Honorary Legal Advisor to Melaka Pay Fong High School 22nd June 2010
H.S.Chew & Co. is honoured to be appointed to the panel of lawyers of the Malacca Pay Fong High School promoting Gifts by testators to the School through Wills, on the 22nd June 2010 by the School’s Board of Governors.

 
 

MMU Law Moot Competition 2009/2010 9th February 2010
Our firm's Managing Partner, Mr. Chew Wee Kian, accepted the invitation to be an adjudicator for the Law moot competition organized by the Law Faculty of Multimedia University and held at the Multimedia University Campus. The contest was organized to enhance the advocacy skills and inculcate court culture and etiquette among the law students.

 
 

Christmas & New Year Dinner 29th December 2009 & 14th January 2010
The Management and Staff of H.S.Chew & Co. (Melaka) celebrated a successful year with a hearty festive Japanese dinner buffet and Christmas gifts were exchanged. Meanwhile, the team in K.L. ushered in 2010 with a seafood feast. Wishing all our employees, clients and business partners a harmonious and joyous new year!
 

Legal Aid Bureau Service 25th October 2009
H.S.Chew & Co. participated in the Melaka Legal Aid Bureau Service Center to provide general advice and legal information to the community in the Bukit Baru District. Issues raised included handling of public nuisance and disruption of peaceful enjoyment in residential neighbourhoods.
